The WAGO 750-640 is a real-time clock module of the WAGO I/O System 750 that gives the higher-level control system the actual time, which keeps running through a power failure on its backup capacitor for more than 6 days. With an optional external antenna it synchronizes to the DCF77, WWVB or MSF time signal, and its integrated time switch function offers 32 channels with 32 switching points plus run-hour counting. Clock accuracy is better than 1min/month at +25°C, the antenna input accepts 3 … 24 V as signal 1 with a 10 ms input filter, and the antenna can be supplied with 5 … 24 V DC through the module. It takes 24 V DC (-15 … +20 %) via power jumper contacts, draws less than 20 mA internally and 11 mA plus load from the field side, and has 500 V field/system isolation. Data is exchanged as 1 x 40 bit (5 byte user data) with an optional 8 bit control/status byte, and it weighs about 55 g.
