The ifm O8S200 (O8S-OOKG/2,0M) is a through-beam sensor transmitter in a rectangular housing measuring 28.1 x 8.1 x 14.4 mm. ifm specifies a range of up to 3 m. It works with red light (633 nm). The light spot is at most 200 mm in diameter at maximum range. As the transmitter of a through-beam pair it has no switching output; it runs on 10…30 V DC and connects through a 2 m cable (PVC, black, Ø 2.9 mm, 2 x 0.08 mm²). It has an ABS housing and a PMMA front lens and is rated IP65 and IP67 for -25…60 °C ambient.
