The ifm AL2201 (IOL MOD SL 8XMP/DX A M12 IP69K) is an IO-Link input/output module with 16 digital inputs (PNP, configurable), 8 analog inputs (4…20 mA or 0…10 V, 16-bit resolution) and 16 digital outputs (configurable, up to 1000 mA each). The outputs carry up to 1 A in total. It connects to a class A IO-Link master port and works to IO-Link revision 1.1 (COM3); the minimum process cycle time is 4 ms. It runs on 18…30 V DC. The housing measures 208 x 59.3 x 38.4 mm and is made of grey PA, with stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) sockets, for backplane mounting. It has one M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts). It is rated IP65 and IP67, and IP69K when operated with stainless steel protective caps, for -25…60 °C ambient.
