The ifm AL1901 (IO-Link Master CL PN 8P IP20) is an IO-Link master with a Profinet interface (PROFINET) and 8 class A IO-Link ports. The Ethernet side supports 100Base-TX. ifm lists IO-Link Integration Edition 2, CC-C (Conformance Class C) (IRT-Switch), S2 redundancy, Netload Class III, CiR (Configuration in Run), SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), MRP (Media Redundancy Protocol) and line and ring network topologies. The ports work to IO-Link revision 1.1 with COM1, COM2 and COM3 transmission. They also provide 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, with up to 300 mA per output and a total current load of up to 3.6 A. It runs on 20…30 V DC (US). The housing measures 125.7 x 50 x 105.3 mm and is made of orange PA, for DIN rail mounting (TH35, EN 60715). It is rated IP20, for -25…65 °C ambient.
