The ifm AC5235 (ClassicLine 4DI-Y 4DO-Y IP67) is an AS-Interface ClassicLine module with quick mounting technology for field installation. It has four digital inputs and four digital outputs, with PNP inputs powered from AS-i. The PNP outputs carry up to 1000 mA each and 4 A in total, with an output supply of 15…30 V DC. On the AS-i side it supports AS-i version 3.0 with slave profile S-7.A.7 and extended (A/B) addressing, and it needs an AS-i master with profile M4. It runs on 26.5…31.6 V DC from the AS-i line, drawing up to 250 mA, with an AUX supply of 15…30 V DC. The housing measures 103 x 90 x 44.2 mm and is made of PA. It connects to the AS-i flat cable by quick mounting and mounts on a TH35 DIN rail, has an M12 socket and is rated IP67 for -25…70 °C ambient. Supplied with the lower part.
