The OMRON CJ1W-CT021 is a CJ1 Special I/O Unit that counts encoder pulses on 2 channels, with A and B inputs and Z signals. It takes open collector inputs at 5 VDC, 12 V or 24 V up to 50 kHz, with the 5 V and 12 V inputs each for one axis only, and RS-422 line driver inputs up to 500 kHz. It uses 4 unit numbers and draws 0.28 A at 5 V. For use with CJ2 CPU Units, OMRON specifies Unit Version 1.06 or later.
