The ifm OID200 (OIDLCPKG/US) is a laser distance sensor in an M30 x 1.5 threaded housing 100 mm long. ifm specifies a measuring range of 0.03…2 m. It works with red light (650 nm), is laser protection class 2 and has background suppression. The light spot is at most 5 mm in diameter at 2 m. It has 2 PNP switching outputs and IO-Link. The switching outputs are complementary (normally open and normally closed), switch at up to 11 Hz and carry up to 100 mA each. It runs on 10…30 V DC and connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts). It has a stainless steel housing and is rated IP65 and IP67 for -25…60 °C ambient.
