The ifm OF5027 (OFB-FPKG/US-100) is a diffuse reflection sensor in an M12 x 1 threaded housing 74 mm long. ifm specifies a range of 1…400 mm on white paper 200 x 200 mm. It works with infrared light (880 nm). The light spot is at most 185 mm in diameter at maximum range. It has 1 PNP switching output.
