The ifm AC505A (ClassicLine 4DI II 3D) is an AS-Interface ClassicLine module with quick mounting technology. It has four digital inputs, with PNP inputs powered from AS-i. On the AS-i side it supports AS-i versions 2.11 and 3.0 with slave profile S-0.0.E, and it works with AS-i masters of profile M2, M3 and M4. It runs on 26.5…31.6 V DC from the AS-i line, drawing up to 250 mA. The housing measures 103 x 45 x 44.7 mm and is made of PA. It connects to the AS-i flat cable and mounts on a TH35 DIN rail, has four M12 sockets (A-coded, 4-pin) and is rated IP50 for -10…50 °C ambient. It carries ATEX marking II 3D Ex tc IIIB T80°C Dc X IP50, and ifm notes that mechanical protection must be provided, otherwise it must be installed with the impact protection housing (E7000A). Supplied with the lower part.
