The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB16D is a ControlLogix DC (19.2…30V) diagnostic output module for the 1756 chassis. It has 16 sourcing diagnostic outputs in two groups of eight for 24V DC loads, with an operating range of 19.2…30V DC, up to 1 A per point and 4 A per module at 60 °C (140 °F). It draws 250 mA at 5.1V DC and 140 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
