The Allen-Bradley 1756-OA8K is a ControlLogix 120/240V AC output module for the 1756 chassis. It has eight outputs in two groups of four for 120/240V AC loads, with an operating range of 74…265V AC at 47…63 Hz, up to 2 A per point and 4 A per module at 60 °C (140 °F), and scheduled outputs synchronized to the Coordinated System Time. It draws 200 mA at 5.1V DC and 2 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
