The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB16EK is a ControlLogix DC (10…31.2V) electronically fused output module for the 1756 chassis. It has 16 electronically fused sourcing outputs in two groups of eight for 12/24V DC loads, with an operating range of 10…31.2V DC, up to 1 A per point and 8 A per module at 60 °C (140 °F). It draws 250 mA at 5.1V DC and 2 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
