The Allen-Bradley 1756-IB32K is a ControlLogix DC (10…31.2V) input module for the 1756 chassis. It has 32 sinking inputs in two groups of 16 for 12/24V DC signals, with an operating range of 10…31.2V DC and input time stamps to ±200 µs. It draws 120 mA at 5.1V DC and 2 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
