The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF16HK is a ControlLogix current analog input module with HART protocol for the 1756 chassis. It has 16 differential current inputs (0…20 mA or 4…20 mA) with a dedicated HART modem per channel and 16…21 bit resolution. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
