The ifm OGP281 (OGP-HPKG/US/CUBE) is a retro-reflective sensor in a rectangular housing with M18 x 1 thread, measuring 52.6 x 19 x 36 mm. ifm specifies a range of 0.1…4 m with prismatic reflector Ø 80 E20005. It works with red light (662 nm) and has a polarization filter. The light spot is at most 160 mm in diameter at maximum range. It has 1 PNP switching output and IO-Link. The switching output works in light-on mode, switches at up to 1000 Hz and carries up to 200 mA. It runs on 10…30 V DC and connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts). It has a diecast zinc housing and a PMMA front lens and is rated IP65 and IP67 for -25…60 °C ambient.
