The ifm OGH500 (OGH-FPKG/US100) is a diffuse reflection sensor with background suppression in an M18 x 1 threaded housing 72 mm long. ifm specifies a range of 15…300 mm on white paper 200 x 200 mm with 90 % remission; on grey (18 % remission) it is 15…290 mm and on black (6 % remission) 15…190 mm. It works with red light (624 nm). The light spot is at most 25 mm in diameter at maximum range. It has 1 PNP switching output. The switching output is programmable for light-on or dark-on mode, switches at up to 1000 Hz and carries up to 150 mA. It runs on 10…36 V DC and connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts). It has a PMMA front lens and is rated IP67 for -25…80 °C ambient.
