The ifm OGH281 (OGH-HPKG/US/CUBE/200MM) is a diffuse reflection sensor with background suppression in a rectangular housing with M18 x 1 thread, measuring 52.6 x 19.1 x 35.9 mm. ifm specifies a range of up to 200 mm on white paper 200 x 200 mm with 90 % remission; on grey (18 % remission) it is < 200 mm and on black (6 % remission) < 190 mm. It works with red light (645 nm). The light spot is at most 13 mm in diameter at maximum range. It has 1 PNP switching output and IO-Link. The switching output works in light-on mode, switches at up to 1000 Hz and carries up to 200 mA. It runs on 10…30 V DC and connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts). It has a diecast zinc housing and a PEI front lens and is rated IP65 and IP67 for -25…60 °C ambient.
