The ifm N0033A (NV1221/230VAC/RL/1D/1G) is a switching amplifier for NAMUR sensors with two channels, for DIN rail mounting. Each channel switches a relay with one changeover contact rated at 253 V AC / 2 A (cos phi > 0.7) or 40 V DC / 2 A with a resistive load, up to 10 Hz. It monitors the sensor circuit for short circuits and wire breaks, runs on 230 V AC (-10…10 %), and carries the ATEX marking II (1) G [Ex ia Ga] IIC (PTB 02 ATEX 2035, TIIS TC16048, IECEx PTB 17.0023). ifm notes that the unit must be mounted outside the hazardous area and that free terminals must not be used. The housing measures 118.8 x 20 x 110 mm, has terminals for conductors up to 2.5 mm² and is rated IP20 for -20…60 °C ambient.
