The ifm N0539A (NV1222/24VDC/TR/1D/1G) is a switching amplifier for NAMUR sensors with two channels, for DIN rail mounting. It has two short-circuit-proof PNP transistor outputs rated at 100 mA each, switching up to 5000 Hz. It monitors the sensor circuit for short circuits and wire breaks, runs on 24 V DC (-15…25 %), and carries the ATEX marking II 3 (1) G Ex nA [ia Ga] IIC T4 Gc (FIDI 20 ATEX 0022X, IECEx FIDI 20.0003X). ifm notes that the unit must be mounted as described in the operating instructions and that free terminals must not be used.
