IFM MK5909 Cylinder Sensor with IO-Link

The ifm MK5909 (MKT4028BFRKG/H/6,0M/IO/ZH) is a cylinder sensor with IO-Link, for flush mounting. It is for T-slot cylinders and uses a 3D Hall sensor to measure piston position over up to 50 mm (depending on the application), with a resolution of 0.01 mm and a repeatability of under 0.2 mm; switch points, a counter and diagnostics are set over IO-Link. The PNP/NPN switching outputs are configurable as normally open or normally closed, rated at 100 mA, plus IO-Link, on 10…30 V DC. The sensor has a PA housing with a stainless steel fastening clamp and connects through a 6 m PUR cable with 4 x 0.08 mm² conductors, and is rated IP65 and IP67 for -25…85 °C ambient. It has UL approval under file E174191. Supplied with a rubber memory stop and a cable clip.
