The ifm KQ6008 (KQ-3120NFPKG/2T/0,04M/AS) is a capacitive proximity sensor in a rectangular housing measuring 57 x 36 x 14 mm, for non-flush mounting. Its rated sensing range is 12 mm. The real sensing range is 12 mm ± 10%. The PNP switching output is selectable as normally open or normally closed, rated at 100 mA and up to 10 Hz on 10…30 V DC, with reverse polarity protection. The sensor has a PBT reinforced glass-fiber housing, connects through a 0.04 m PVC cable with 3 x 0.14 mm² conductors ending in an M8 connector (A-coded, 3 contacts) and is rated IP65, IP67 and IP69K for -25…80 °C ambient.
