The Allen-Bradley 1794-IE8 is a FLEX I/O analog input module with 8 single-ended, individually configurable inputs for 4…20 mA, 0…20 mA, ±10V or 0…10V, with 12-bit (unipolar) or 11 bits + sign (bipolar) resolution and a conversion rate of 256 µs for all channels. It draws 60 mA at 24V DC and is rated for -20…+55 °C (-4…+131 °F). FLEX I/O modules plug into a terminal base unit that carries the field wiring, so a module can be removed and inserted under power without disturbing field wiring; one FLEX I/O adapter communicates with up to eight I/O modules.
