The Allen-Bradley 1794-APBDPV1 is the FLEX I/O adapter for PROFIBUS DP and DPV1 networks. It connects up to 8 FLEX I/O modules at all rates up to 12 Mbps, through a 9-pin D-shell connector for the PROFIBUS standard drop cable. It takes 24V DC nominal (19.2…31.2V DC operating range), consumes 9.6 W at 24V, puts a 640 mA load on the 24V supply and dissipates up to 4.2 W at 19.2V DC.
