The Allen-Bradley 1756-IR12K is a ControlLogix RTD analog input module for the 1756 chassis. It has 12 RTD input channels with ranges from 1…500 Ω up to 8…4000 Ω and 24-bit sigma-delta conversion, for platinum, nickel and copper RTDs. It draws 70 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
