The Allen-Bradley 1756-IN16K is a ControlLogix AC (10…30V) input module for the 1756 chassis. It has 16 inputs in two groups of eight for 24V AC signals, with an operating range of 10…30V AC at 47…63 Hz and input time stamps to ±200 µs. It draws 135 mA at 5.1V DC and 2 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
