The Allen-Bradley 1756-IT16K is a ControlLogix thermocouple analog input module for the 1756 chassis. It has 16 thermocouple input channels (-100…+100 mV; types B, C, D, E, J, K, N, R, S, T and TXK/XK (L), ITS-90 linearization) with 24-bit sigma-delta conversion. The two 1756-CJC cold junction sensors are ordered separately. It draws 80 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
