The Allen-Bradley 1756-IM16IK is a ControlLogix 240V AC input module for the 1756 chassis. It has 16 individually isolated inputs for 240V AC signals, with an operating range of 159…265V AC at 47…63 Hz and input time stamps to ±200 µs. It draws 100 mA at 5.1V DC and 3 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
