The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF16K is a ControlLogix current/voltage analog input module for the 1756 chassis. It accepts 16 single-ended, eight differential or four high-speed differential voltage or current inputs in the ±10V, 0…10V, 0…5V and 0…20 mA ranges, with sigma-delta conversion and up to 16-bit resolution. It draws 200 mA at 5.1V DC and 35 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
