The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF8HK is a ControlLogix voltage/current analog input module with HART protocol for the 1756 chassis. It has eight differential voltage or current inputs (±10V, 0…5V, 1…5V, 0…10V, 0…20 mA, 4…20 mA) with HART communication and 16…21 bit resolution; series B has one HART modem per channel. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
