The Allen-Bradley 1756-DHRIO is the ControlLogix module for DH+ and remote I/O networks. Its 2 ports can each be set for DH+ or remote I/O, at 57.6 Kbps, 115.2 Kbps or 230.4 Kbps. On DH+ it carries messaging between devices; on remote I/O it works as a scanner only, with 32 logical rack connections and 16 block transfer connections per remote I/O channel. It supports up to 32 connections, draws 850 mA at 5.1V DC and 1.7 mA at 24V DC, dissipates 4.5 W and takes 1 slot.
