The ifm UGT582 (UGQ00800E1KG/US) is an ultrasonic sensor in a housing measuring 53 x 20 x 37.7 mm. Its sensing range is 60…800 mm (target: 100 x 100 mm), with a blind zone of 60 mm, a 15° beam angle and a converter frequency of 230 kHz; temperature compensation is built in and switch points are taught. The PNP switching output is configurable as normally open or normally closed, rated at 100 mA and up to 5 Hz, plus a 4…20 mA analog output, on 10…30 V DC. The sensor has a stainless steel, PA and epoxy glass ceramic housing and connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts), and is rated IP67 for -20…70 °C ambient. It has UL approval under file E174191. Supplied with one stainless steel M18 lock nut.
