The ifm OJ5148 (OJH-FPKG/SO/AS) is a diffuse reflection sensor with background suppression in a rectangular housing measuring 35 x 11 x 24 mm. ifm specifies a range of 15…400 mm on white paper 200 x 200 mm with 90 % remission. It works with red light (660 nm). The light spot is at most 18 mm in diameter at maximum range. It has 1 PNP switching output. The switching output is programmable for light-on or dark-on mode, switches at up to 1000 Hz and carries up to 200 mA. It runs on 10…30 V DC and connects through an M8 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts). It has an ABS housing and a PMMA front lens and is rated IP67 for -25…60 °C ambient.
