The ifm KG5071 (KG-3080NFPKG/2T/US) is a capacitive proximity sensor in an M18 x 1 threaded housing 87 mm long, for non-flush mounting. Its rated sensing range is 8 mm. The PNP switching output is selectable as normally open or normally closed, rated at 200 mA and up to 10 Hz on 10…36 V DC, with reverse polarity protection. The sensor has an orange PBT housing, connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts) and is rated IP65 and IP67 for -25…80 °C ambient. Supplied with two lock nuts.
