The ifm EIO404 is a Bluetooth mesh IoT base station for up to 50 Bluetooth adapters. The data the adapters collect can be read over Ethernet (10/100 Mbit/s) through ifm IoT Core using MQTT JSON, and ifm states it can be used with moneo Cloud together with the moneo edgeGateway AE2100, or with moneo on-premises from version 1.15. The radio link uses Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 in the 2.4 GHz band at 10 mW with a typical range of 20 m, and the IP address is assigned by DHCP. It runs on 18…30 V DC (24 V nominal), is rated IP67 for -25…60 °C ambient and has UL approval under file E537924.
