The ifm CR2040 (ioControl/In 16/M12) is an input module for mobile machines with 16 inputs, including eight analog inputs (0…20 mA or 0…32 V), four frequency inputs and four resistor inputs. It is programmable to IEC 61131-3 with CODESYS 2.3, has two CAN interfaces (CANopen, SAE J1939 or free protocol, factory setting 250 kBit/s) and a 4-digit LED display with pushbuttons for setting parameters. It runs on 8…32 V DC (12 / 24 V nominal), measures 234 x 76 x 37.2 mm, is mounted on a backplane, connects through M12 connectors (A-coded, 5 gold-plated contacts) and is rated IP65 and IP67 for -40…85 °C ambient.
