The ifm CR2016 (R360/CabinetModule/32I/0) is a CANopen I/O module for mobile machines and cabinet installation with 32 inputs and outputs. Its 16 inputs include four frequency inputs up to 2000 Hz and four analog inputs for 0…10 V with 12-bit resolution; its 16 high-side outputs switch 0.1…2.0 A and can all be used as PWM outputs (20…250 Hz), with wire-break, short-circuit and current diagnostics. The baud rate and node ID are set by switches (factory setting 125 kBit/s, node ID 32), and it is configured through an EDS file in CODESYS 2.3 or 3.5. It runs on 10…32 V DC (12 / 24 V nominal, 4 W), measures 181 x 105 x 30 mm for 4 x M4 screw mounting and is rated IP20 for -40…60 °C ambient; ifm lists railway tests to EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2. Screws and tubular rivets are supplied.
