The Allen-Bradley 1756-OG16 is a ControlLogix TTL output module for the 1756 chassis. It has 16 TTL outputs in two groups of eight for 5V DC logic (low = true), with an operating range of 4.5…5.5V DC. It draws 210 mA at 5.1V DC and 2 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
