The Allen-Bradley 1756-OF8I is a ControlLogix isolated voltage/current output analog module for the 1756 chassis. It has eight isolated output channels that can be set individually for voltage or current (-10…10V, 0…10V, 0…5V, 0…20 mA), with 16-bit resolution. It draws 200 mA at 5.1V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
