The Allen-Bradley 1756-OC8 is a ControlLogix DC (30…60V) output module for the 1756 chassis. It has eight sourcing outputs in two groups of four for 48V DC loads, with an operating range of 30…60V DC, up to 2 A per point and 8 A per module at 60 °C (140 °F). It draws 165 mA at 5.1V DC and 2 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
