The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB8EI is a ControlLogix DC (10…30V) electronically fused, isolated output module for the 1756 chassis. It has eight individually isolated, electronically fused sourcing outputs for 12/24V DC loads, with an operating range of 10…30V DC, up to 2 A per point at 60 °C (140 °F) and 16 A per module at 55 °C (131 °F). It draws 250 mA at 5.1V DC and 2 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
