The ABB AI843 is an S800 I/O thermocouple input module for redundant applications, with open circuit detection: 8 channels plus reference junction for TC types B, C, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T and U or -30…75 mV, 16 bits, with extended diagnostics. S800 I/O runs on 24 V d.c. (19.2 - 30 V), is rated IP20 and +5 to +55 °C operating, and takes up to 24 I/O modules per I/O station.
