The Mitsubishi Electric FR-A846-00310 is an IP55 compatible inverter of the FR-A800 series in the 11K frame of the 400 V class, built into a dust- and water-proof enclosure that also meets UL Type12. In the initial ND rating it drives a 11 kW motor at a rated current of 23 A, with an overload capacity of 150% for 60 s and 200% for 3 s; in LD rating the figures are 15 kW and 29 A. It accepts a three-phase 380 to 500 V supply at 50 Hz/60 Hz, tolerates 323 to 550 V, and has a built-in DC reactor. Cooling is forced air plus an internal fan, the housing measures 238 mm wide by 650 mm high, and it weighs about 26 kg.
