The ifm VVB001 (VIBRATION IO-LINK SWITCH) is a capacitive MEMS vibration sensor with IO-Link for industrial machines, measuring vibration velocity over 0…45 mm/s and acceleration over 0…50 g in the 2…10000 Hz range, and also surface temperature over -30…80 °C. It has two switching outputs (PNP/NPN configurable) rated at 100 mA each, with switch points and filters for v-RMS, a-RMS and a-Peak set over IO-Link, and a self-test function. The Ø 22 mm stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) housing mounts with a set screw (tightening torque 8 Nm), runs on 18…30 V DC, connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts) for cable lengths up to 20 m and is rated IP67, IP68 and IP69K for -30…80 °C ambient. Two set screws are supplied.
