The ifm VTV12A (VIBRATION TRANSMITTER) is a vibration transmitter to ISO 10816 with a MEMS sensor and a 4…20 mA output for vibration velocity over 0…25 mm/s (RMS) in the 10…1000 Hz range. ifm gives a measuring error under ±3 % and a repeatability under 0.5 % of the final value; it runs on 9.6…32 V DC and the maximum load is 720 Ω at 24 V. It carries ATEX marking II 3D Ex tc IIIC T110°C Dc (SEV 25 ATEX 0742 X, IECEx SEV 25.0005X); IP69K applies when used outside the hazardous area. The stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) housing mounts with a set screw (tightening torque 8 Nm), connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 2 contacts) and is rated IP67 for -20…60 °C ambient. Two set screws (1/4"-28 UNF / M8 x 1.25 and 1/4"-28 UNF) are supplied.
