The ifm LMC502 (LMCCE-N12E-QSKG-2/US) is a capacitive sensor for point level detection in water, water-based media, oils, oil-based media and powder. It has a 40 mm probe and a process connection of 1/2" NPT, is rated for a tank pressure of -1…40 bar and a medium temperature of -20…100 °C (-20…150 °C for up to 1 h), and its wetted parts are PEEK and FKM. It provides 2 switching outputs (PNP/NPN) and IO-Link, with the switching outputs configurable as normally open or normally closed and rated at 100 mA, runs on 18…30 V DC and connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 gold-plated contacts). It is rated IP68 and IP69K for -20…85 °C ambient.
