The ifm IF6074 (IFA3003ZBPKG/5M/SH) is an inductive high-temperature proximity sensor in an M12 x 1 threaded housing 56 mm long, for flush mounting. Its rated sensing range is 3 mm. The operating distance on steel is 0…2.4 mm. The PNP switching output is normally open, rated at 120 mA and up to 500 Hz on 10…35 V DC, with reverse polarity. On other metals the distance is reduced by ifm's correction factors: 0.6 for stainless steel, 0.3 for brass, 0.2 for aluminum and 0.1 for copper. The sensor has a stainless steel threaded sleeve with an LCP sensing face, connects through a 5 m silicone cable with 3 x 0.22 mm² conductors (highly flexible) and is rated IP65 for 0…150 °C ambient. Two lock nuts are included.
