IFM IF6137 Inductive sensor with IO-Link

The ifm IF6137 (IFK4004BFRKG/IO/US-104) is an inductive proximity sensor with IO-Link in an M12 x 1 threaded housing 60 mm long, for flush mounting. Over IO-Link it reports the target distance across 0.375…3.75 mm, with a linearity error of ± 2 % of the final value of the measuring range, and offers a configurable switch point of 0.7…3.51 mm. The PNP/NPN output is configurable as normally open or closed, rated at 100 mA and up to 600 Hz (100 Hz in IO-Link mode) on 10…30 V DC, with reverse polarity and short-circuit protection. On other metals the distance is reduced by ifm's correction factors: 0.7 for stainless steel, 0.5 for brass, 0.5 for aluminum and 0.4 for copper. The sensor has a white-bronze-coated brass housing with an orange PBT sensing face, connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts) and is rated IP65, IP66, IP67, IP68 and IP69K for -40…85 °C ambient. It has UL approval under file E174191. Two lock nuts are included.
