The ifm ID0013 (IDE2060-FBOA) is an inductive proximity sensor in a rectangular housing measuring 105 x 80 x 40 mm, for non-flush mounting. Its rated sensing range is 60 mm, adjustable, with a factory setting of 60 mm. The real sensing range is 60 mm ± 10% and the operating distance on steel is 0…48.6 mm. It is a two-wire normally open or normally closed (selectable) sensor for 20…250 V AC/DC, with an AC load current of 250 mA (350 mA up to 50 °C) and a switching frequency of 4 Hz on AC, or 100 mA and 4 Hz on DC. ifm specifies a fast-acting miniature fuse of 2 A or less in the supply. On other metals the distance is reduced by ifm's correction factors: 0.7 for stainless steel, 0.4 for brass, 0.3 for aluminum and 0.2 for copper. The sensor has a PPE modified housing, connects through terminals for conductors up to 2.5 mm² in a terminal chamber with an M20 x 1.5 cable gland for cable Ø 7…13 mm and is rated IP65 for -25…80 °C ambient. It has UL approval under file E174191. Supplied with one screwdriver.
