Beckhoff CU2508 is an 8-port Ethernet port multiplier with RJ45 ports at 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s, connected to the control PC via a Gigabit uplink, so the PC can serve up to eight Ethernet networks, including real-time protocols such as EtherCAT or PROFINET (depending on driver).
