The Banner QS18VN6LD is a QS18LD series diffuse-mode sensor with a visible red 650 nm Class 1 laser, sensing up to 300 mm with a spot of approximately 1 mm at 300 mm for small-object detection and precise positioning. It runs on 10 V DC to 30 V DC at less than 15 mA and has solid-state complementary (SPDT) NPN outputs rated 100 mA maximum, with a single-turn sensitivity (gain) potentiometer and crosstalk rejection. Output response is 700 microseconds ON/OFF. The ABS housing with acrylic lens cover is rated IP67 and mounts by its 18 mm threaded barrel or from the side; it connects through an attached 2 m 4-wire PVC cable and works from –10 °C to +50 °C.
